Mesh banners are printed on 8oz PVC-coated polyester with a 37% air-flow perforation. As a result, that open weave is what separates mesh from standard vinyl. Instead of acting as a sail and pushing back against wind, the material lets air pass through, dramatically reducing load on fence posts, scaffolding, and mounting hardware. The material specs back it up:
- Tensile strength: 160 x 160 lbs per inch
- Tear strength: 34 x 34 lbs per inch (warp/weft)
- Low-temperature tolerance: No cracking down to -22°F
- Flame retardancy: NFPA 701 certified
- Air permeability: 2,650mm/sec at 200 Pascal
- Fungus-resistant treatment
