Aspire energy drink has made a big splash in England, and has decided to break into the US market. Their plan to expand consisted of both agreements with big box retailers like Sam’s club and Target. They also organized internal grass roots marketing campaigns at summer events and beyond. Making a successful first impression in the US required very accurately branded gear.
In attempt to settle some questions regarding the final print, we suggested that we do a small run of samples. Samples worked as an affordable way to get a tangible product, so they could bring a few options to management to make a decision. In addition to screen printed T-shirts for fans, Aspire needed custom company apparel for their Chicago and Texas based teams. After we did this, they narrowed down the final apparel, which turned out to be premium T-shirts, performance ¼ zip sweatshirts, as well as custom hats. Samples were produced and approved and then we printed the entire run of custom apparel in Chicago at one time. What a fun project and they actually brought us a couple cases of their energy drink when they picked up their order. It’s good stuff…highly recommended!
