Comfort Colors Custom Tees and Embroidered Carhartt Beanies for The Pelvic Institute

Comfort Colors Custom Tees for a Chicago Wellness Brand

Pelvic institute custom embroidered beanie lineup

Some apparel orders are straightforward. This one required coordinating three garment types, two decoration methods, and a brand identity that had to be consistent across all of them. The Pelvic Institute is a Chicago physical therapy and performance clinic that launched in 2023. With this in mind, they came to us for a branded apparel package built to last, Comfort Colors custom tees in two styles, and embroidered Carhartt beanies, all tied together under one production run.

Premium Quality Custom Apparel for a Chicago Wellness Practice

Comfort Colors custom t shirt for the pelvic institute

The Pelvic Institute opened in 2023 with a clear brand identity and a need for apparel that matched it. They weren’t looking for generic custom t shirts. They wanted a premium feel that reflected the vision of their practice, something staff would wear with confidence, and clients would notice.

We built the package around two Comfort Colors custom tee styles and embroidered Carhartt beanies, a mix that covered warm-weather staff wear, cold-weather headwear, and a consistent identity across all three items.

Custom Comfort Colors are one of the most popular Pigment Dyed Blanks available

Although Comfort Colors is not the most budget-friendly blank on the market, they are still a customer favorite. Even so, the reasons why customers love them is because of their fit, vibrant color range, and they are 6.1 oz 100% cotton. They are the perfect addition to any collection. The pigment-dyeing process runs the apparel through a dye process after they are sewn together, which leaves the material buttery soft and endlessly comfortable.

100% Cotton Ivory Comfort Colors T shirt

The Comfort Colors 1717 model is known for its soft, vintage feel and heavyweight quality. At 6.1 oz and 100% cotton, it’s a comfort colors tee that feels closer to retail apparel than a standard promo tee.

We printed a small logo mark on the left chest on the front and a large typography-forward design on the back. The back stacks the full brand name in bold block lettering with a “Physical Therapy and Performance” descriptor line and a pill-style badge reading “Chicago,” all in a single dark green ink against the ivory base. This one-color design makes for a clean result, with great quality output that holds up through repeated washes.

Screen Printed Long Sleeve Shirts — Comfort Colors 6014 in Pepper

The Unisex Garment Dyed Long Sleeve 6014 runs in the same fabric as the 1717, but in a dark black/pepper colorway. The front carries a small chest logo with wordmark. The back uses an arched typographic layout with the clinic name curving around a center logo mark, “Physical Therapy and Performance,” “Chicago, IL,” and “Est. 2023” below.

Embroidered Carhartt Beanies for Staff and Cold-Weather Apparel

For the winter component, The Pelvic Institute chose Carhartt Watch Cap beanies in charcoal heather. We embroidered the logo mark and “THE PELVIC INSTITUTE” wordmark in white thread across the front panel. Carhartt’s knit fabric holds onto embroidery cleanly, and the Carhartt label on the finished item carries a level of professionalism that a generic blank doesn’t.

White thread on charcoal gives the design a strong contrast and legibility. The result is headwear that works in a clinical setting and holds up through a Chicago winter without looking like a throwaway promotional item.

Why Purchasing the Right Blank Matters for Branded Apparel Programs

Comfort color shirts have a specific hand feel, weight, and softness that buyers in the wellness and performance space appreciate. With that in mind, at 6.1 oz and 100% cotton, the comfort colors tee line prints well, washes well, and holds its fit when sized correctly. Accounting for the minor shrinkage that’s expected with cotton construction after the first wash.

Custom Shirts That Work Across a Full Brand Launch

A new company doesn’t get a second chance at a first impression. The Pelvic Institute needed t shirts that communicated great quality from the first time staff wore them. Choosing custom Comfort Colors tees was the obvious choice in creating this effect.

Coordinating screen printing and embroidery through one shop means one proof process, one timeline, and color matching across ink and thread handled internally. Nothing falls through the cracks, and your order is handled completely by a single point of contact.

Why Wellness and Healthcare Brands Choose CSSP for Custom Apparel

Furthermore, if you’re building an apparel program for a clinic, studio, or wellness practice, choosing the right product and decoration method matters as much as the design itself. The Pelvic Institute came to us with a clear vision and a need for custom shirts that could carry it. They left with a cohesive collection, produced on one timeline, by one team. We let our work speak for itself — and our clients speak for us. Check out our reviews.
